Meet our new head of Tenancy Services

Abi Travers Head of Tenancy Services at Runnymede Borough Council

Hi, I’m Abi Travers and I started working with Runnymede in March as the new Head of Tenancy Services. I oversee a team of staff who together, manage our Social Housing tenancies within the Borough. This includes a team of Area Housing Managers, an Estates Services Team, a Tenancy Audit and Anti-Social Behaviour Officer and our Independent Retirement Living service.

It’s a busy time in the service as we work to support those tenants who are struggling financially so that they can stay on top of their priority debts and maximise their disposable income.

The team are also out and about in our neighbourhoods working with residents to identify Estate Improvements, where we can upgrade a communal area for the benefit of the surrounding community.

Along with the upcoming modernisation of our Independent Retirement Living schemes, I’m really looking forward to seeing the changes we’ll be making within Runnymede communities over the coming year.
