What cannot go in your bin
The following items must not be put into the garden waste bin
- plastic bags
- plastic flower pots
- large branches and wood
- rubble and stones
- soil and turf (this service is for garden waste for composting only. Putting soil in the bin is likely to make the bin too heavy for us to collect)
- animal bedding - such as hay, straw and saw dust
- Japanese Knotweed
There is weight restriction on how much the vehicle can lift. Please ensure bins are easily manoeuvrable otherwise we may not be able to empty your bin.
