The rules
- The person being nominated must live in the Borough
- Awards cover the 12-month period from 1 January to 31 December 2022
- You can only submit two nominations. Each nomination as a separate entry
- The individual / group you are nominating must agree to being nominated.
- If under 18 parent/guardian must agree to the nomination for both the individual and group awards
- You agree that by submitting a nomination you have obtained permission to be included in press/media releases and on social media for council publications
- You cannot be nominated if you are a serving elected member or officer of Runnymede Borough Council
- An individual or group can only win one award. If they are nominated by different people for more than one award, the assessment panel will decide which category is appropriate
- Nominations for party political related work cannot be accepted
- Nominations must be received by 5pm on Friday 13 January 2023
Data
- We are collating the information for the sole purpose of evaluating the nominations for the Civic Awards
- We will only disclose the information you provide on the nomination form to the relevant council officers dealing with the Civic Awards and members
- We will disclose the names of each winner, reason for their nomination and the award category to the press and other media
- We keep the applications for the Civic Awards for a period of three years
- The decision of the judges is final
