Service to the Community Award - Individual
For residents who go out of their way to improve the lives of others, build good relationships, and encourage positive community spirit.  They could be in paid employment but go above and beyond in their role to support to the community.

Service to the Community Award - Organisation
For organisations who go out of their way to improve the lives of others, build good relationships, and encourage positive community spirit. This organisation could be a commercial enterprise that goes the extra mile to support to the community.

Volunteer of the Year
For volunteers of any age (including children) who have made a positive contribution to their community through giving their time voluntarily for the benefit of others and demonstrated their outstanding commitment to their role.

Volunteer Group of the Year
For volunteer organisations, or groups of volunteers, who have demonstrated great teamwork, provided support and encouragement for other volunteers, and made a significant and positive impact through working together.

Inspirational Person of the Year
An individual resident who has made a tangible difference in their community and demonstrates a substantial improvement to the lives of others. Or someone who has personally made a difference to their own life by demonstrating courage, bravery, determination and strength during difficult circumstances and is an inspiration to others. 

Inspirational Young Person of the Year
A young resident (aged under 18 years old) who has made a tangible difference in their community and demonstrates a substantial improvement to the lives of others. Or someone who has personally made a difference to their own life by demonstrating courage, bravery, determination and strength during difficult circumstances and is an inspiration to others. 

Green Champion Award
For an individual, group/organisation or school eco-council who are actively working to improve the environment for the benefit of their local community or school.  This may be achieved through sustainability initiatives or providing practical support and solutions to combat the effects of climate change.
