Sports Person of the Year
For an individual who has achieved individual success, or has made a huge difference to their team, over the last 12 months. A role model setting a good example to others. Sporting achievements are not limited to trophies or medals. Success could include improvements in performance throughout the year, personal commitment and sacrifices to increase progress, or special circumstances / barriers that have been overcome by the athlete.

Young Sports Person of the Year
For an individual under the age of 18 who has achieved individual success, or has made a huge difference to their team, over the last 12 months. A role model setting a good example to others.  Sporting achievements are not limited to trophies or medals. Success could include improvements in performance throughout the year, personal commitment and sacrifices to increase progress, or special circumstances / barriers that have been overcome by the athlete.

Club/Team of the Year
For a sports club or team which has performed exceptionally well throughout the last 12 months, demonstrating fair play and a sporting attitude, and showing significant improvement from previous years. The club will have a proven record of recruiting and encouraging new players to develop, as well as continually supporting existing members to stay within the sport. They provide a wider offer than just sport provision, by supporting their community and having a positive impact to residents.

Coach of the Year
For a coach who has inspired people to take part in sport more regularly, helped people to start or stay in sport, and who has played a positive influence in their community.

Sports Volunteer of Year Award
For a volunteer (of any age) who has made a positive contribution to sport in the community through giving their time voluntarily for the benefit of others and demonstrated their outstanding commitment to their role.  Recognising an individual who has gone above and beyond to empower and inspire people in their chosen sports.

Health & Wellbeing Award
For an organisation or individual who has gone above and beyond to empower and inspire people to improve their health, fitness and wellbeing.  Providing exceptional guidance, empowering individuals to achieve their goals through lifestyle changes and personal development, promoting health and wellbeing within a supportive and motivating environment. Made significant positive contributions to the community, whether through outreach programmes, accessible services, or health education initiatives.
