Before reporting a missed bin collection
Please check the following before contacting us:
- your bin was visible by 6:00 AM or at its agreed assisted location
- the bin lid was shut
- there are no service disruptions
Important Information
- If your bin was missed, we aim to return within two working days (Mon–Fri).
- Leave your bin out until collected. If it is not out, we will wait until your next scheduled collection.
- If the crew reported an issue or you forgot to put it out, we cannot return until the next scheduled day.
- If you’re away, arrange for someone to put bins out and bring them back.
- Bins frozen shut or contents frozen solid cannot be emptied. Ensure lids open and contents are loose.
- Updates on severe weather or disruptions will be posted on our website and social media.
To report a missed collection, it must be:
- after 3pm on your usual collection day
- within 24 hours of that day (or by Monday 5pm if missed on Friday)
