Sharps
Sharps boxes help you safely dispose of used or unused syringes and needles. If you need a new sharps box, please ask your healthcare provider.
Make sure
- All sharps are contained within the box
- The lid is securely closed
- The sharps box is visible on collection day by 5am.
Do not
- Leave sharps out in anything other than a sharps box
- Put anything other than sharps in the sharps box
- Leave out extra sharps for collection that are not appropriately contained
