Community impact

It is too early to be certain what will happen with the Scout Huts. The Council will engage with the Scouts to discuss their requirements moving forward. The possibility of providing a new Community Building is being explored, potentially a building that could meet the needs of the Scouts as well as others.

We will engage with schools, Health Service providers and Surrey County Council at an early stage to address these concerns.

We are aware that some of the garages are not large enough for today’s cars and that they are in need of repairs. They may be replaced with housing, garages, an alternative storage solution or to site equipment for a Ground Source Heat Pump.
