Ottershaw Neighbourhood Plan

On 14 October 2020, members of Runnymede Borough Council Planning Committee resolved to designate the Ottershaw Neighbourhood Forum and Ottershaw Neighbourhood Area as submitted.

The designation of a neighbourhood forum lasts for five years and consequently this designation expired on 14 October 2025. The Council received an application to re-designate the Forum and for the avoidance of doubt, the area covered by the Forum remains unchanged as is set out in the map of the Neighbourhood Area below.

Consultation on the redesignation of the Forum closed on the 23 September 2025 with four responses received. A delegated decision was taken to redesignate the Forum on 15 October 2025. The Delegated Decision Recommendation Report which includes a summary of the representations received to the consultation and the Council’s response to these can be viewed below. A copy of the redesignation application which contains the Forum constitution is also available to view below.

Name of the Neighbourhood Forum: Ottershaw Neighbourhood Forum

Name of the Neighbourhood Area: Ottershaw Neighbourhood Area

Contact Details: Nigel Eastment (Forum Secretary), info@ottershawforum.com

What happens next?

As the Ottershaw Neighbourhood Forum and Area remain in place the Forum can continue to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan for the area as designated. Any consultation or stakeholder events associated with early plan preparation will be carried out by the Neighbourhood Forum in this respect.

More information on the progress of the Ottershaw Neighbourhood Plan can be found on the Ottershaw Neighbourhood Forum website.
