We allocate collection dates throughout the year, please specify your preferred dates when you apply. The charity diary shows when collections in Runnymede are taking place this year.
Please note that the Royal British Legion’s Head Office makes an application to every local authority in the UK to hold street collections for the annual Poppy Appeal. If a local branch wishes to hold collections outside of the nationally agreed dates they are requested to contact the Royal British Legion well in advance and ask their Head Office to make such application on their behalf.
If you are granted a House to House Collections Licence you also need badges from The Stationery Office. You can either use the form accompanying the licence or apply on-line direct from the TSO Shop
Please refer to our Borough Map This shows the main towns we allow collections to take place in. In some locations you may need additional permission to hold a collection. You will find where exclusions apply under 'Business' 'Charity Collections' and a map will be supplied if you are granted a licence. We do not allow direct debit appeals to take place in any of our borough's town and village centres.
