Submission guidance
Please read prior to completing the funding application.
The application form will ask specific questions about your project and it is best to have your answers prepared as there is a time limit of 30 minutes to complete each page.
Here are some elements to consider in relation to your project before you start your application:
- New project or project growth - priority will be given to support new projects or growth to existing projects rather than funding the status quo - but all proposals will be considered on merit and within the scope of the grant.
- Identify the need - consider evidence base, gaps in provision etc.
- Target demographic - consider age, ethnicity, gender, specific location
- Existing provision - other services and projects which have similar means of delivery and/or outcomes.
- Partnership working - opportunities for collaboration, resource sharing etc.
- RCHP Themes - Healthy behaviours, Healthy minds and/or Healthy lives.
- Health inequalities – contribution to reducing health inequality.
- Environmental implications - potential impact on the environment, biodiversity and climate change.
- Project timeline.
- Scaling up/expansion possibilities.
- Project delivery - consider where, when, how, inclusivity and accessibility, resourcing, promotion.
- Value - efficiency, longevity, effectiveness of provision.
- Monitoring and evaluation of outcomes - KPI’s and how they will be measured.
- Sustainability - delivery beyond any funding awarded.
- Total cost - full breakdown of costs and other grants or funding sources.
