Englefield Green Minor Projects Fund

The Englefield Green Minor Projects Fund is inviting resident groups, voluntary and community organisations, both based in or serving residents of Englefield Green, to apply for funding for new projects or expansions to existing projects. The aim of this funding is to support residents in Englefield Green using Section 106 money received by the Council relating to the Runnymede Campus development, at Coopers Hill Lane, Englefield Green.

The amount that can be applied for is up to £7,000

Applications will be reviewed by Officers from the Community Development Team and Ward Councillors, where recommendations for approval of projects will be made.

The applications recommended for approval will be presented to the Community Services Committee.

The deadline to submit all applications will on Monday 17 November 2025.

All applications will be reviewed by a panel of council officers and the community services committee chair and deputy chair on Thursday 20 November 2025 to make final recommendations to the Community Services Committee. 

Final decisions will be made by the Community Services Committee at its meeting on 15 January 2026.

You will be informed of the outcome of your application after the above process is complete.

All questions on the application form must be answered. 

  • Only projects supporting Englefield Green residents
  • Expansion of an existing activity/project in Englefield Green
  • Equipment to support setting up a new project in Englefield Green
  • Improving local facilities for Englefield Green residents
  • Set up costs e.g. promotional materials
  • Individuals
  • Ongoing costs (e.g. staff costs)
  • Projects that have started or incurred expenditure before receipt of Grant/Grant is confirmed
  • Projects originating from organisations who do not have a bank account

The maximum amount available for a Minor Projects Fund is £7,000

An organisation can apply more than once to the Minor Projects Fund.

Applicants will need to detail how the Minor Projects Fund will contribute to the health and wellbeing of our residents, with reference to the priorities listed in the corporate Health and Wellbeing strategy and Empowering Communities strategy

All groups applying must have a bank account and two signatories for signing cheques and making withdrawals. You will need to upload your previous year’s accounts.

In considering any application, the Minor Projects Fund Panel will consider existing facilities/projects of a similar nature already providing support to Englefield Green residents.  

If your application/project is to support vulnerable people DBS checks on staff and or volunteers must be in place.

There is no appeals process for the Minor Projects Fund.

You may be contacted by the Community Development Team to provide further information regarding your application.

You will be required to complete a monitoring form when your project finishes or within 6 months of receiving the Minor Projects Fund grant.

Applications are welcome from resident groups, voluntary and community organisations, both based in or serving residents of Englefield Green, to apply for funding for new projects or expansions to existing projects.
