Customer Services provides a range of services and functions that support individuals with their general enquiries on services provided within the borough. The customer service team are the first point of contact for most customers and as such are ambassadors for the council.

Customer Services responsibilities include

  • Providing the Front of House service at the Civic Centre, resolving queries from the general public
  • Support customers with Community Services queries including Waste, Recycling, Leisure Bookings and the open spaces within the borough
  • Support customers with Environmental Services queries including Environmental Health, Licensing and Parking
  • Provide a high quality of customer services through a variety of mediums which include telephone, in writing by post, e-mail, text, web chat, social media, and mobile applications

  • As part of your placement you may be asked to experience the customer journey to assist with service delivery improvements and share your ideas

This placement would be based at the Civic Centre, Addlestone. A DBS check is required for this placement, otherwise the placement will be restricted to a limited list of tasks.
