Assests and Regeneration Services
A significant proportion of the Council’s income is generated by this team and goes towards supporting services for our residents.
The focus of this service area include
- Ensure that we have a fit for purpose operational estate to deliver needs of our residents
- Oversea the Addlestone One development which has enhanced the local economy by providing new shops and leisure venues
- Source new tenant businesses to occupy vacant premises
- Oversee the Magna Square development
- Manage a large portfolio of commercial properties
- Conduct regular building surveys across the property portfolio to maintain assets
- Manage the facilities of the Civic Centre offices
Skills and experience you could obtain
- Administrative skills
- Communication skills
- Contractor management skills
- Interpersonal skills
- IT skills
- Knowledge of how the facilities of a building are managed
- Knowledge of managing a large property portfolio
- Knowledge of the various assets a borough council is responsible for
This placement would be based at the Civic Centre, Addlestone.
