Garfield Road

• Commission and install CCTV to cover the blind spots in the Garfield Road area  
• Unfortunately, we cannot have CCTV in the stairwells of Surrey Towers, so instead we are investing in a second fob entry door to the stairwell from the main entrance  
• We will be installing fob entry lifts in Surrey Towers to stop non-residents from gaining access and loitering in the stairwells  

We understand that there are issues with parking in the area from non-residents. It is difficult and expensive to address these issues in the estate. There are more properties than there are parking spaces which means we cannot give out permits or allocate parking – this would also have cost implications to enforce.

We have approached the near-by gym to remind members not to park their car in the Garfield Road car park and we will continue to investigate alternative solutions.
