Supplying the Council

All current opportunities to work with the Council as well as other public sector organisations in Surrey are advertised on the SE Shared Services portal Suppliers register on the portal to search for, access and submit responses to tender opportunities and quotation requests.

To register, follow the register link on the SE Shared Services website. New supplier registrations require the company registration number, company name and contact details.  Additionally, suppliers choose relevant business categories which will set up automatic email notifications when new opportunities linked to the category are released by any of the public sector organisations using the portal. Registration is quick and easy and should take no more than five minutes. The registration helpline for any assistance you may require is: 0845 557 8079.

Once registered, suppliers can search for relevant opportunities and select "express interest" to view all the procurement documents including the invitation to tender, the specification and the terms and conditions. To submit a tender or quotation suppliers will need to upload the required documents to the portal before the deadline.  Tenders or quotations will not be accepted after the deadline date and time or by means other than through the submission process on the portal.

The Council’s Contracts Register is also a useful document for suppliers.  This provides a list of existing contracts above a value of £5,000 and includes the expiry date for these contracts. This is published quarterly.
