Elections and voting

On Friday 13 March 2020 the Government announced that due to the Covid 19 pandemic, elections due to be held on 7 May 2020 have been postponed for a year.
Following the voting and counting of the Runnymede and Weybridge ballot, Conservative Party candidate Benjamin Spencer has been elected as MP for the constituency.

Almost anyone can stand for election to the local council. As long as you meet the criteria below, and can find ten people to support your nomination, you may put your name forward and become a candidate.
