Great Big Green Week

The Great Big Green Week

The Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature. This year it took place between 10 and 18 June 2023. During the Great Big Green Week, local groups and organisations across the UK organised events around the themes of climate change action, sustainability and nature preservation.

As part of the Great Big Green Week, Runnymede Borough Council organised a Borough wide Local Green Week, pulling together local events. To kick-start the week of events and activities, the Council ran an ‘Environment and Sustainability Day’ in Egham town centre on Saturday June 10 2023.
