Tenancy agreement review

FAQs

The Tenancy Agreement was last updated in 2014.

Updates are needed to manage your tenancy effectively, reflect legislation, and address issues tenants have raised such as anti-social behaviour.

The changes will not affect the protection your tenancy gives you, the length of your tenancy, or how much rent you pay.

It is the tenant(s) responsibility to keep to all tenancy terms and this affects everyone who lives in or visits the property.

The proposed changes include updates to tenant responsibilities, such as preventing damp and mould, strengthening anti-social behaviour, and clarity on succession rights, lodgers and service charges.
