The number of resident eligible for our Independent Retirement Living (IRL)schemes will increase significantly in the next 20 years, and we want to make sure we are ready for the increase in demand.
We are also aware that 30% of our housing stock is currently over-occupied by older residents, and the older people's accommodation we currently offer is attracting little interest from housing applicants. Which is why we are giving our IRL schemes a fresh new look that is modern, and able to support people’s wellbeing and independence.
