Want to do work to a tree in a conservation area

If you wish to undertake work to a tree within a conservation area you are required to give the Council 6 weeks notice

Note if work is carried out without giving notice tree owners and their agents are liable to be prosecuted.

The notice can be given online via the Planning Portal or using the form from the link below, this must be accompanied by a plan and give full details of the work. The plan can be based on an up to date Ordnance Survey map, and these can be downloaded from Maps Alternatively, a sketch plan which shows the buildings road names and identifies the trees clearly is acceptable.
