Resident on street parking permits
From 1 April 2023 Surrey County Council will be taking over responsibility for the management of on-street parking and the enforcement of parking regulations in Surrey. The County Council will be working in collaboration with their new contractor NSL (part of Marston (Holdings) Ltd).
If you require a resident parking permit after 31 March 2023 you will need to apply to Surrey County Council
Residents living in the roads listed below are able to buy resident parking permits
- Burn Close
- The Hythe
- Hythe Road
- Cumberland Street
- Railway Terrace
- Thorpe Road
- Wick Road
Having a permit does not guarantee a parking space will be available at all times.
If space is not available, the vehicle must be parked elsewhere, in compliance with any parking or waiting restrictions that apply.
Vehicles need to show a valid permit when they park in residents' bays during restricted times and are not allowed to park on the yellow line waiting restrictions.
