Local community groups can now apply for one-off grants of up to £5,000 through the Runnymede Community Grant Scheme, which supports voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations delivering services in the borough.
A total of £58,000 is available this year. Funding can be used to help organisations grow, support more residents, or launch new projects that meet a local need. Grants can also support environmental initiatives or help groups build long-term resilience.
To apply, groups need to complete the online application form by the published deadline. Paper copies are available on request for those who need them.
All applications will be reviewed by a panel of council officers and councillors. Final decisions on funding will be made at a meeting of the Community Services Committee. Successful applicants will be asked to sign a funding agreement before grants are paid.
The scheme aims to make a positive difference to the borough by supporting the vital work of local organisations.
Full guidance and the application form are available on our Community Grant Scheme webpage.
