Search the land charges register

If you wish to search and inspect the Local Land charges register you can book an appointment by emailing our Local Land Charges team at land.charges@runnymede.gov.uk alternatively you can call our contact centre on 01932 838383.

Once you have a booking appointment you can follow the procedures below on how view the register within our Civic Centre.

1. Double click on the ‘LLC Register Map Search’ icon (shown above – please note the picture may change on these icons but they will always have the same name).

2. Click on the ‘OK’ button on the Welcome Window.

3. To conduct your search follow the procedures in the Instruction Menu panel on the left side of the screen (please note, it is always best to search by a ROAD NAME within the Address Search field at the top of this screen not just a number or property name), you will then be able to see all properties within that road in the list at the bottom and select the one you want. If you have problems please try a different type of search criteria – spelling mistakes etc., will affect the search result.

4. When you have finished Step 3, minimise (click the minus at the top right of the screen) or close (click on the ‘X’ at the top right of the screen) the Map Viewer G:\Land Charges Procedures\PERSONAL SEARCH PROCEDURES\LLC REGISTER INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS - 27.8.2020.doc Page 2 of 2 5. To find the details of the registrations found double click on the ‘LLC Registrations Report’ icon (shown above – please note the picture may change on these icons but they will always have the same name).

6. Select ‘Run’

7. In the ‘Discreet Value’ field enter the Registration ID number (i.e. 0015466) and select OK. The details of the registration will then display on screen.

8. To look up a further Registration ID click on the ‘Refresh Data’ icon at the top of the screen (see icon picture to the right).

9. Click on the ‘Prompt for new parameter values’ button and select OK. You can then enter your next Registration ID.

10. When you have finished searching and inspecting the Local Land Charges Register please close all applications down by clicking on the cross in the top right hand corner of all open windows/screens. 

If you experience any problems with the system please contact a Land Charges Officer on 01932 425660/2/4 (or ask the Front of House staff to contact us) so that we can check what the problem is before escalating the issue to our Digital Services Section to deal with.
