Small electrical items

Small electrical items that will be collect- include kettles, laptops, power tools and radios

Small electrical items can be collected weekly or recycled at community recycling centres. Items need to be bagged (in a standard size carrier bag) and put next to the food waste bin.

  • small battery powered toys
  • smoke detectors

  • telephones and mobile phone
  • laptops
  • household batteries (bag separately)

Do not leave light bulbs out for collection

We cannot accept items that are too big to fit in a standard size carrier bag. These items can be taken to your local community recycling centre. Items suitable for reuse, such as washing machines or freezers can be collected by KCF furniture collections but there is a charge for this service.
