Garden waste terms and conditions
The garden waste collection service is a subscription service. There is a single fee for the year (1st April – 31st March), irrespective of when you subscribe.
Please ensure that you have read and reviewed the full Terms & Conditions before subscribing to this service. Several of the key points are highlighted below.
- The yearly fee is for the cost of the fortnightly collection service.
- If you are a new subscriber, a delivery fee will also apply.
- All bins remain the property of Runnymede Borough Council.
- There are no concessions or refunds for this service.
- The first collection will be on the next scheduled collection following payment.
- If you move house within the borough, your subscription can be transferred.
- Customers may use the service for the disposal of garden waste only.
- Bin lids must be fully closed prior to collection. Overweight bins and excess (side) waste will not be collected.
- The collection crew will not return for bins that have not been fully emptied due to overloading or because the contents are frozen/stuck to the bin.
- The service will be suspended for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period.
