Unpaid Council Tax

Digital debt collection

We have now started sending digital reminders to residents via text and email if your Council Tax account falls into arrears.

This service can prevent statutory recovery notices being issued and may help you avoid paying additional costs.

Whilst this service is offered to prevent customers from falling further into arrears, it should not be relied upon.

It is your responsibility to maintain the instalments due on your account in line with your bill. Failure to do so may result in recovery action being taken.

Depending on the details we hold for you, we may contact you by one of the following methods.

SMS Text

Messages will be addressed to you personally and shown as from RunnymedeBC. To access the full message, you must click on the link to confirm it is you.
