Community Transport Splodge

Dial-a-Ride is a door-to-door community transport service which uses easily accessible, low-floor mini-buses.

Who can use the service?

It's available to older people plus children and adults with mobility problems or learning difficulties who are unable to access mainstream public transport. You don't need to be registered as having a disability.

We can pick you up and take you anywhere within Runnymede borough.

You can use the service for a range of services and activities including:-

  • shopping
  • work
  • GP appointments
  • hospital appointments (unfortunately, we can't provide return journeys from these at the moment)
  • adult education
  • hair appointments
  • leisure activities
  • visits to friends and family
  • social clubs and voluntary groups

Dial-a-Ride will also take you to selected places outside the borough, such as larger shopping centres and leisure centres.

Operating times

The service operates Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, excluding bank holidays.

All journeys need to be booked. Fares are charged per journey based on distance. Concessionary bus passes can't be accepted on the service.
