All of the Council managed sites have open waiting lists. If you would like to be added to a waiting list, please complete the allotment waiting list form.

A rod is a unit of measurement traditionally used for allotment plots. One rod is approx. 25 square metres, five rods is approx. 125 square metres, and 10 rods is approx. 250 square metres.

The cost of an allotment is £20.50 per 25 square metres (rod) per year, reduced to £17.90 for payment by direct debit. A 50% discount will be applied to those who have reached their state pension age (proof of age will be required). There is also a key deposit of £10.00.

From 1 April 2024 the cost of an allotment is £21.00 per 25 square metres (rod) per year, reduced to £18.30 for payment by direct debit. A 50% discount will be applied to those who have reached their state pension age (proof of age will be required). There is also a key deposit of £10.00.

Most plots in Runnymede are between five and 10 rods (125 and 250 square metres), however, the standard plot size is five rods.
