Actions you can take at home
There are lots of resources you can use to improve the environmental credentials of your home, saving you money and reducing your properties greenhouse gas emissions:

- Install a smart meter to enable accurate bills and provide near real-time information on energy usage and costs.
- Consider whether you could switch energy provider to use green tariffs or save on your bills.
- Get a free home energy survey through the Home Energy Advice Taskforce (HEAT) programme, a partnership between Surrey County Council and Zero Carbon Guildford.
