Our Beautiful Borough photography competition
We think that Runnymede is beautiful. From canals to caterpillars, daisies to deer, and owls to oak trees, there is so much natural beauty to enjoy in our borough, and we want you to help us celebrate this.
As a lead-in to Great Big Green Week 2024, we are asking you to send us your very best nature and wildlife photos taken anywhere in the borough of Runnymede. The competition will open for submissions on Monday 15 April 2024 and close on Sunday 2 June 2024 in two categories:
- Under 18
- 18 and over
The winning entries in each category will receive a £50 Social Supermarket voucher presented during a meet and greet event with the Mayor, and their winning entry displayed in the Mayor’s office at the Addlestone Civic Centre.
To submit your entries between the 15 April 2024 and 2 June 2024 email a maximum of 3 photographs to climatechange@runnymede.gov.uk with your name, age, and the location and a short description of each photo. For photos with a large file size, please consider using WeTransfer to send this information. Ensure your photos are clearly labelled so that we can identify which location/description corresponds to each photo.
By emailing your photos to us (directly or through WeTransfer) you confirm that you have read and accept the Competition Terms and Conditions and the Council’s Privacy Policy.
