Runnymede Borough Council would like to join forces with its local communities to celebrate the Great Big Green Week from 8 to 16 June 2024. 

As a Council, we are committed to making our operational emissions net zero by 2030 and supporting our communities towards improved sustainability and a healthier environment across Runnymede as set out in our Climate Change Strategy.

The Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature. Local groups across the UK will be organising events around the themes of climate change action, sustainability, and nature preservation. The theme of Great Big Green Week 2024 is ‘Let’s Swap Together for Good’. 

We will be regularly updating these pages in the lead up to Great Big Green Week 2024. Stay tuned for information about events taking place in Runnymede or use this tool from Great Big Green Week to find events happening near you!
