Up to £5,000 available through County Councillors to help residents, voluntary and community organisations deliver initiatives that benefit local people in key areas such as Creating a greener future.

Grants in excess of £2,500 available to community tree planting projects that are well planned, sustainable, and directly benefit people and communities. 

Funding available to projects addressing a social or community need, including environmental sustainability, and educate or engage with communities on the SWR network.

Climate Action is a key funding theme towards promoting healthy, thriving communities by preventing, preparing for and protecting against the impacts of climate change. This is a match funding scheme where Aviva will match each donation received up to £250 per donation, and a total of £50,000 per project. 

Landowners, land managers and public bodies can apply to the England Woodland Creation Offer for support to create new woodland, including through natural colonisation, on areas as small as 1 hectare. You could receive up to £10,200 per hectare.

Registered charities, community interest companies, co-operative societies and community benefit societies can apply for funds to deliver energy related projects that meet the scheme priorities and benefit people. The scheme has awarded over £100 million to 539 projects since launching in 2018.
