The Council wants to give tenants and leaseholders a choice of opportunities to influence and scrutinise Housing services. In addition to consultations, community events, surveys and the three active residents groups, the Council’s Housing Committee has voted to approve a new Customer Experience Panel. Residents will be able to scrutinise details of how the Council is performing and give their views on topics being decided by the Committee to inform its decision-making. The panel will be championed by Councillor Mike Smith, Chair of the Housing Committee.
We are keen to discuss with residents the best way for the Panel to work. We will also be helped in the launch by Engagement experts TPAS
