Coffee morning
Residents attended a coffee morning on 28 August 2025 at the Geek Retreat to discuss:
- Neighbourhood Watch: setting up Neighbourhood Watch for the different parts of the Estate. Residents involved are looking for volunteers to take part in the initiative. If you are interested, please, contact: garfieldestate340@gmail.com
- Estate improvement ideas: project proposals are welcome,
- Building safety: to improve communication and involve residents in shaping our building safety policy and strategy, we would like to ask residents to join a working group. Please, contact us on listening@runnymede.gov.uk or call: 07818825098.
- Window replacement: the Council need to get formal permission from the Building Safety Regulator and submissions are underway. The work can take place earliest 2026/27.
- Parking at the Estate: a new Head of Tenancy Services will start in the middle of September 2025. Project Plan might is expected by the middle of December 2025 and a residential vote about a possible parking scheme by February/March 2026.
