Fire Engine Day at Surrey Towers

The Fire Engine Day at Surrey Towers was a fantastic and well-received event. It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout from residents, many of whom brought along their families and friends. The presence of the community created a lively and welcoming atmosphere, and it was especially heart-warming to see how much fun the children had exploring the fire engine. Their excitement and curiosity added an extra spark to the day.

A huge thank you to the fire crew, who were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and engaging. They took the time to speak with residents, answer questions, and make the children feel involved, which helped make the day even more memorable.

We’re also grateful to Surrey Fire and Rescue Service for carrying out Safe and Well visits during the event. These visits were a valuable opportunity for tenants to gain important safety insights and raise awareness of fire safety in the home. The sunny weather certainly helped lift spirits and made for a perfect backdrop to a day of community building and informative interaction.
