Compensation policy feedback

The Compensation Policy has now been approved by the Housing Committee.

The policy sets out the Council’s approach to when we should give out compensation to customers who have experienced loss, damage, inconvenience, or distress due to service failure or other faults by the Council.

The policy explains:

  • When we would give compensation
  • When we would not give compensation
  • What compensation could look like
