What is the group about?
The group will
- Contribute to the Tenant Newsletter, informing us of what articles tenants want to read about.
- Review generic letters, leaflets and publications we send to all tenants ensuring that important information is clear and easy to understand.
- Be involved in the review of housing web pages of the Council’s website.
- Be involved in the development of new communication methods with tenants.
- Put forward ideas and suggestions to improve communication across the housing services.
How often would we meet?
We propose that the Communications Group meets every 8 weeks. In addition to this, the group will also be invited to weekly meetings, to look at specific projects such as the Tenant Newsletter.
We have a room at the Council where the group can meet in person. If you would prefer to stay in the comfort of your own home, you can join the group virtually.
