Contents of the Constitution
Article 1 of the Constitution commits the Council to serve its local community by enhancing the quality of life for all residents of the Borough whilst maintaining rigorous control of its financial affairs.
The Constitution is intended to provide effective procedures and methods of working to fulfil this task.
Articles 2 to 15 explain the rights of residents and how the key parts of the Council operate.
