Council’s property sale pays off

Runnymede Borough Council’s strategic review of property holdings has taken another step forward, with the sale of 92 Station Road, Addlestone for £980,000.

The strategic review is identifying Council-owned properties around the borough that are no longer needed, and which are suitable to be released onto the private market.

A spokesperson for the Council said: “This is a good result for Runnymede, and shows how effective asset management can deliver for our residents to ensure we maintain the right amount of property holdings while also achieving financial results.”
