Megan Jones and Philip Roser celebrate their awards.
Megan Jones, Principal of the Megan Jones School of Performing Arts said: “I am blown away, it means a lot to us to win, it means all the hard work is worth it. We’re a performing arts school for everyone, from babies to an 86-year-old woman who still does tap dance. We are a school for the community, and I appreciate that the community has noticed that.”
Cllr Steve Ringham, Co-Leader of Runnymede Borough Council, who was at the awards, said: “It has been a great afternoon, so many wonderful companies here – big and small - and it is really inspiring to see such great entrepreneurship and innovation in the borough.”
The Council thanks all sponsors for making the awards possible, particularly Royal Holloway for hosting the event.
The Runnymede Business Awards form a key part of the Council’s Economic Development Strategy, which aims to promote local enterprise, encourage networking and support the growth of a thriving borough economy.
