Nominations now open for the 2025 Runnymede Civic Awards

Civic Awards 2025

It’s that time of year again where we acknowledge and celebrate those in our borough who go above and beyond to make a difference in Runnymede.

Now is your chance to give that unsung hero the recognition they deserve as nominations are now open for the 2025 Runnymede Civic Awards, and it’s the perfect way to highlight the amazing people making a real impact in our community.

Whether it’s through volunteering, excelling in sports, creating inspiring art, or simply going the extra mile to help others, the Civic Awards celebrate those who are truly making a difference.

Nominate an unsung hero

This year there are categories covering Community, Sports and Fitness, and Arts – with special awards for young people too. To nominate, all you need to do is fill in a few details about yourself and your nominee and share some examples of why they deserve to be recognised for their efforts over the past year.

Shortlisted nominees will be invited to a special awards night on 11 March 2025 at Foxhills Country Club in Ottershaw. It’s a chance to celebrate these local heroes and hear from local dignitaries as the winners are announced. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to meet other people who are dedicated to making Runnymede a better place.
The Civic Awards are a great way to shine a light on those who help make Runnymede such a special place to live, work, and play. Plus, they tie into the borough’s goals for Empowering Our Communities and Health and Wellbeing.

We are delighted to announce that this year our Gold Sponsor is Avery Healthcare.
