Egham and Staines Conservation Volunteers meet once a fortnight throughout the year in the Runnymede and Spelthorne areas. We perform a variety of tasks, all aimed at improving the local environment.

Make a difference for nature and people. Remove invasive species and encourage native ones. Introduce the next generation to the benefits fo green space.

4 January 2026 - The Ranges

Further work at the plantation. Parking in the field off Docket Eddy Lane.


18 January 2026 - Hare Hill

With local wardens, we will be removing invasive sycamores.

Starting this season's coppicing. Parking in the field or Docket Eddy Lane (weather depending on).

Maintaining the woods. Parking off the road in Cabrera Ave or Beechmont Ave parking area.
