Egham and Staines Conservation Volunteers meet once a fortnight throughout the year in the Runnymede and Spelthorne areas. We perform a variety of tasks, all aimed at improving the local environment.

Learn new skills. All tools and refreshments are provided.

Be part of a team

Make a difference for nature and people. Remove invasive species and encourage native ones. Introduce the next generation to the benefits fo green space.

Spring programme

12 April 2026 - Laleham pond

Working on the fencing around the pond, strim brambles, refurbishing seats. Parking at the Scout site next to the pond.


26 April 2026 - Gogmore park

Creating a dead hedge next to the Bourne in the park. Parking in the park car park.


10 May 2026 - The Ranges

Continuing our work at the willow plantation and kids camp. Parking in the field.


24 May 2026  - Black ditch

With Shepperton Village Conservation Group, we'll be cutting back new growth in and around the ditch. Parking in school lane or Burchetts Way.

7 June 2026  - Hare hill

With local wardens, we’ll be helping maintain the diverse habitats. Parking in Howards Lane.

21 June 2026 - The Ranges

Continuing our work at the willow plantation and kids camp. Parking in the field.
