Race Equality Week

Working together for fairness, respect and community

Runnymede Borough Council is taking part in Race Equality Week this February.

We want every tenant - from every background, culture and community - to feel welcome, respected and included.

What is Race Equality Week?

Race Equality Week is a UK‑wide campaign that brings people together to:

  • Learn about race equality
  • Celebrate different cultures
  • Challenge discrimination
  • Build stronger, safer communities

Why it matters in Runnymede?

Our Borough is home to people from many different countries, languages, faiths, cultures, racial backgrounds.

We want all tenants to feel:

  • Safe
  • Respected
  • Treated fairly
  • Able to speak up
  • Proud of their community

Race Equality Week helps us strengthen these values.
