Runnymede Borough Council (RBC) has recently refurbished 11 park tennis courts in the borough.
RBC wishes to enter into an agreement with tennis coaching providers with a Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) accredited workforce, led by a minimum LTA Level 3 coach (or equivalent), to carry out a tennis coaching programme for a maximum of 18 hours per site each week, plus offer one hour of free activity to the community (free activity to be proposed within the application). Providers can apply for a maximum of two sites.
The ambition of RBC is to drive participation of tennis across the sites and make tennis more accessible for local residents, whilst delivering a high standard of coaching.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to provide inspiring coaching sessions and deliver effective and sustainable community tennis programmes for people of all ages and abilities within the local community, with access to refurbished courts and resources available from the LTA.
