Runnymede Residents Support Fund
The fund provides short-term emergency financial assistance to residents experiencing urgent difficulties. It is intended to support those who may not qualify for existing government schemes but still need immediate help to maintain their wellbeing or prevent their situation from worsening.
This scheme operates on a nomination-only basis. From time to time, we will also use existing benefits data to proactively identify residents who may be eligible for support.
Nominations to the fund will be assessed based on need by the Council’s Benefits Team or through trusted partners, including Citizens Advice, Adult Social Care, and the Council’s Housing and Revenues teams. Assessments are made on a household basis, taking into account income, savings, and household circumstances.
