Congratulations to all the winners of the Greenfingers of Runnymede Competition 2019

Judging for the annual Greenfingers of Runnymede Competition 2019 took place on 2 July and we were very impressed with the level of effort and commitment residents had put into their gardens and allotments.

The best entries were selected by the panel and invited to an awards ceremony at Squires Garden Centre in Chertsey.

The winners were presented with their vouchers by sponsors of the event, Mr Colin Squires from Squires Garden Centres, the Mayor of Runnymede, Councillor Parshotam Sohi and Cllr Margaret Harnden.

The winners for the categories were as follows

Front Garden
1st - Curfew Cottage, Laleham Reach 
2nd - 11 Brookhurst Road, Addlestone
3rd – 4 Savill Mews

Communal or Community Garden
1st – Hythe Park Community Orchard
2nd - Onslow Mews, Chertsey
3rd – Miller’ Court
