Memorial safety and stability test
From January 2026 Runnymede Borough Council will be carrying out a Safety and Stability test and audit on memorials within all cemeteries.
Memorials in a dangerous condition may be laid flat on a grave, fitted with a temporary support or have a warning sign erected. Do not touch or tamper with these memorials.
