Living Well Week

Runnymede's Living Well Week is a week long celebration aimed at giving local residents the opportunity to try something new and increase awareness of the vast array of existing services in the Borough.

Living and Ageing Well Week 2016

Living Well Week - starts 23 September 2017!

Each year, we work with a range of partners to offer residents free or low cost activities, tasters and information sessions focused around health and wellbeing.

This year we are pleased to offer many new activities as well as previous popular activities. These include coffee mornings, free swimming sessions, free exercise sessions, walk and lunches, poetry workshops, film nights and more!

Living Well Week will launch on Saturday 23 September with a family friendly event. Meet us at Abbeyfields Recreation Ground (Staines Lane, Chertsey) between 10am and 12noon for a morning of music, dancing, information stands and activities.

There will be a band playing, Ki Gong demonstrations, outdoor bowls, blood pressure checks, information and advice stands from Runnymede Borough Council, Sight for Surrey, Stroke Association, Voluntary Support North Surrey...and more!

For more information about this week, please click on the days of the week to the left-hand side of this page, see our pdf icon Living Well Booklet 2017 [5Mb] or telephone the Community Development Team.

Living and Ageing Well Week 2016

Living and Ageing Well Week 2016 marked the second year of our week long celebration. In total, we had 85 activities on offer throughout the week, including mini-manicures, exercise sessions, coffee mornings, film nights, health checks, information stands, a trip to Brooklands Museum and more! All of these activities were offered free of charge or at a low subsidised cost. A big thank you to our generous partners who supported us to make this week a success.
