Living Well Week 2017

Living Well Week 2017 marked the third year of our weeklong celebration of local activities, tasters and information sessions focused around health and wellbeing. The week is a great way to showcase the activities that local community groups and organisations already run, as well as introducing new sessions and one off events.

We had over 50 activities on offer including exercise sessions, coffee mornings, film nights, health checks, information stands, a trip to Virginia Water Lake and more! All of these activities were offered free of charge or at a low subsidised cost. A big thank you to our generous partners who supported us to make this week a success and a special thank you to Hodders for helping to support the promotion and launch event this year.

During the launch event, All About Taste kindly served hot drinks in fabulous china cups and delicious slices of cake (cakes provided by Hodders) in return for a donation. There was also a suggested donation for facepainting. Thank you to everyone who donated generously as a fantastic £183.29 was raised and All About Taste have kindly chosen The Orchard Dementia Centre to receive this money.
