Living Well Week

Runnymede's Living Well Week is a celebration aimed at giving residents the opportunity to try something new and increase awareness of the vast array of existing services in the borough.

Living Well Week

Living Well Week is a celebration of local activities, tasters and information sessions focused on health and wellbeing.

During the last week of September, there are free activities and events on offer including exercise sessions (swimming, tai chi, walking football, table tennis..) health checks, family activities, social events, lunches and advice sessions.

There is a launch event on the Saturday before with stands by local charities, organisations and businesses. There's also live music, food and drink and fitness demonstrations.

If you're an organisation or member of the public and want to find out more about the event, including sponsorship, please email communitydevelopment@runnymede.gov.uk or telephone 01932 425688.

Living Well Week 2018

Living Well Week 2018 marked the fourth year of this event. We had over 77 activities on offer including exercise sessions, afternoon tea, film nights, health checks, information stands, a trip to Virginia Water Lake and more. All of these activities were offered free of charge or at a low subsidised cost. A big thank you to our generous partners who supported us to make this week a success.

During the launch event, All About Taste kindly served hot drinks in fabulous china cups and delicious slices of cake in return for a donation. There was also a suggested donation for face painting. Thank you to everyone who donated generously as a fantastic £119.52 was raised and this money will be donated to the Manor Farm Art Group.

Parklands Manor Care Home kindly donated a hamper for a raffle which raised £83 which was donated to the Over 60s lunch club at Chertsey Hall.
