Get Active 50+ is making it easier than ever for you to a lead healthier life by putting on a varied programme of activities to try.

Get Active 50+ 2017.

Now in its second year, the programme of sport and activities offered are designed to encourage and inspire our residents aged 50 or over to try something new, get active, and improve their health and wellbeing. This is being funded by Runnymede Borough Council and Sport England, in partnership with Active Surrey.

A wide variety of sports and activities will be available in Runnymede through the Active Surrey Get Active 50+ scheme. More information and booking details for each can be found by following the links below.

Get Active 50+ CAMEO
Come And Meet Each Other is for people who simply want to do just that - meet each other! NEW for September, come and join us for a Get Active session to help improve your balance, strength and co-ordination. Lunch will follow and an informal meeting.
Get Active 50+ Dance and exercise classes
A variety of dance and exercises classes and courses, with something to suit everybody.
Get Active 50+ Medau Movement
Classes are based on natural body movements; strengthen your core and improve your co-ordination and balance with each lesson based on your own individual needs.
Get Active 50+ Bowls
Bowls clubs are running open days throughout the Borough.
Get Active 50+ Walking Netball
A slowed down version of netball, designed for anyone looking to exercise in a relaxed, supportive and friendly environment
Get Active 50+ Walking Football
A slower version of the beautiful game
Get Active 50+ Walking Basketball
A walking version of the 'running' game we know and love!
Get Active 50+ Jogging
An eight-week course designed for those who may never have run, may have run in the past and want to get back to running or would like run in a group and meet others socially.
